About UsWe provide professional loading/unloading, as well as packing services. We focus on high quality, instead of high quantity of work. We are a small, but very reliable company. We service the NYC area. We carry 10+ years of hands on moving experience. The most affordable way to move, local or long distance. You rent your own truck, along with dollies and furniture pads, and we will come to load and/or unload your belongings for you. We also help with same building moves. We currently do not provide driving help.

Our History |
Smooth Move NYC was established in 2011. Mike, the owner/manager, has been in the moving industry since his college years in the early 2000's; after gathering considerable moving knowledge working for full-service, as well as labor-only companies, he decided to venture out for himself and start Smooth Move. We are a very small service, with only a few experienced crew members, who possess extensive moving experience that reaches far beyond the start of this company. Mike has always put pride in his communication, attentiveness to detail, and the quality of his work. This is exactly how this service operates.
